Reed was raised on a 230-acre ranch in Whitesboro, Texas that was operated by his parents, Pete and Tamra Kyle, with a full training and breeding facility. Reed grew up in the reining horse world and has continued his passion for the horse industry. He has shown in AQHA, NRHA, NCHA and NRCHA, with his main emphasis on reining horses.
Reed went to Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agribusiness. At Oklahoma State, Reed was the Spirit Rider and rode “Bullet” on the football field at all of the home games.
Reed’s latest accomplishment in the equine arena was at the 2014 NRHA Futurity where he made the L1 Non Pro Finals and placed Co. Reserve Champion aboard KR Just A Spark.
